DANCING PREDATORS
Über das Motiv
A symmetrical, repeating pattern in the spirit of an exotic jungle, where slender palms with lush, sprawling leaves form rhythmic arches interwoven with dancing leopards. Golden-rust cats climb and leap among the greenery with full grace and wildness, and small flowers and decorative dotted borders in red and green complete the whole. A cream background gives the composition a warm, vintage character, and the carefully balanced symmetry brings to mind colonial textiles and old botanical design.
