FRESH LANDSCAPE
Über das Motiv
Undulating layers of green arrange into a rhythmic, hypnotic pattern resembling a bird's-eye view of emerald fields or a cross-section of a tropical plant's leaf. The composition leads the eye along diagonal bands that transition from a bright, yellow-green glow in the upper corner through juicy, saturated shades of grassy green to a deep, almost black darkness in the lower part. The texture of every band seems to have a palpable, velvety depth, and distinct shadows between the layers give the whole a three-dimensional, sculptural quality. It's a pattern full of calm, organic energy — dynamic, yet as soothing as the sound of wind over a meadow.
