MEDITERRANEAN DREAMSCAPE
Über das Motiv
A view of Positano at dusk bathed in a delicate, muted color palette — the white and ecru of Mediterranean houses cascade down toward the azure sea surface, and the dome of the Santa Maria Assunta church, decorated with majolica in shades of turquoise and gold, forms the central accent of the composition. The whole is kept in a cool, dreamy mood — the sky transitions from pale pink to pearl blue, and the sea shimmers in shades of gray and navy. The photograph has an almost watercolor character, as if a moment were captured suspended between day and night, between reality and the memory of a beautiful dream.
